To be honest I'd rather lose that first finals game anyway. We don't have a good history of winning the comp after getting a bye previously.

No. That was the older system.

Teams 5-8 have no second chances.

What a ridiculous situation. The NRL has to fix the Draw, it is obviously rigged. Souths and Roosters always get the Friday and Thursday games going into finals giving them a much better preparation.

I'd still rather be fourth but it's not as bad as what people make it out to be if we finish 5th-8th. As long as there's no more injuries though! If we're pretty fresh unlike last year then we can give this premiership a real shake

If a team is to win the grand final it shouldn't matter who they play in week 1..you need to be winning games to win through and be winning to win the final
