Taupau, Perrett and Lane just had very good games for Manly. Finucane continues to impress at Storm. Not to mention Cook now a bonafide top grade hooker, and Ese Ese a regular first grader at Broncos.

How do we not have the foresight to keep these guys.

The pack is far more suited to the modern game. It's unreasonable to think we could of held them all, but the fact that only 2 of them remain just shows how bad Des' recruitment and retention has been. He's just so far off the mark.

Cook is one of the most over rated players on here. He played 2 good games at the backend of 2015 and has done nothing since. He has pace and little else.

As to your list Finucane was the only one at the time I thought "why - mistake" came to mind straight away

If those players were still with us Hasler would have destroyed their confidence, and we would be saying we need new players! We need to give the crop of players we have a chance with a new coach... until Hasler is gone, and as stated by others before, we could have the Australian team, and it would be ugly to watch! Hell I would even take Marshall at a 100k at this stage to put next to Foran next year with Mbye at FB. Way better spine than the last 5 years.

If we could get Sezer then we should keep Mbye at #9 and then we should go after DWZ to play fullback, I know that he recently re-signed with the Panthers but the guy is behind both Moylan and Edwards for the fullback spot and will forever be stuck on the wing at the Panthers, he is one of the most naturally gifted players I have ever seen whenever I used to watch him at fullback in the reserves and I think he could make a really good fullback in first grade if given a proper shot.
