By the way, the thread title is very misleading. The tweet says "palyer announcement" your thread title says "player signing"
These can be 2 completely different things
Bakes has hit the nail on the head here.

I've just read 4 pages for nothing. Players signing is not a player announcement.

Rumours abound about Dogs signing Ken Sio. No confirmation tho.

The announcement will be that the Bulldogs would like to welcome sponsor XYZ to the club and look forward to a long connection between the 2 organisations.

In all des' coaching years he has never been spotted at a union game. Quite a coincidence he is at a game involving a player in beale that is not happy with his current standing in the wallabies squad and we are in search of a fullback.

Also, got told by a friend that recently wayne bennett and israel falou were taking a tour through dogs training facilities. Not sure what that means but thought id say it anyway. Could it be that bennett is trying to find darius a new club or foloau to dogs after union world cup. Who knows lol...its been a guessing game since that prick barba left us.
Hmm interesting, if its true then put this together; Des was at a game with Israel Falou and/or Beale playing (if I am correct) and Bennett was with Falou taking a look at the club (if true).

From that its either that Bennett was looking at a new home for Boyd who has now stopped playing due to seeking treatment (Bennett did say Boyds best friend is Mckinnon and the news hit him hard) so maybe he thinks getting him away from that club will help, Falou was looking for him self or Beale and was seeking Bennetts opinion (if they were together) for himself or Beale.

Alot of ifs and buts, but the club will be the only ones to know and tell us lol

Folau wont be back in the NRL for a very long time. There is too much money for him to chase in France after the RWC.

The only way Folau is coming back, is if the NRL were to top up his contract by atleast $1m a year

Maybe the NRL are willing too now, would cost slot of money but a kick in the guts to union is needed

If the NRL help lure Beale over that will be the kick in the guts. Folau - no chance

Beale is no chance of going to French rugby.

Toulon, are one of the wealthiest clubs in the world, they already have Matt Giteau, Drew Mitchell and James O’Connor. They are also chasing Will Genia and Folau

If Toulon sign Folau, they would release O’Connor, not for financial *reasons but because of the foreign import quota.

Toulans past players have been Gregan, SBW, Wilkinson, George Smith.

The import quota was, with 50% of home-grown players in 2010/11 and 70% as of the 2011/12 season. Im not sure if it's gone up again.

How is O'Connor eligible for the Wallabies if he's over there playing?
