Loved him too, was T Lamb junior and a fucking great player in his own right.
He came to my high school with a few other players & was acting like he'd rather be anywhere else but there. Terry Lamb, Rod Silva & John Timu were pretty cool though.

So the cap is expected to go up to $10.5m for next year but teams have been told to operate under $9.4m? How shambolic. Everyone’s roster is pretty much set for next year so how will teams spend an extra $1.1 million next year if the cap does go up by that much?

This is way to simplistic but IF the cap goes up by $1.1m and IF we have no players with rachet clauses, can we afford a marquee like Hunt in 23? Is every club gonna try plan on doing something similar?

Amateurish planning by the NRL.

Well technically AVERILLO because that's all the dumb fuck did. He ran it cause he had no clue how to do anything else
Ok, last half that ran the ball AND created attacking opportunites by doing it. I've seen Flamingo run it as well...straight into 3 big boppers and kill the play on the 4th (or 5th).

1. Latrell Mitchell/Will Kennedy/Scott Drinkwater/Daine Laurie/Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow
6.
Matt Burton
7. Ben Hunt/Mitchell Moses/Jackson Hastings/Cameron Munster/Jack Wighton
9.
Reed Mahoney

Every fullback and halfback is signed long-term with their clubs. The players with the boldings are the only available players, who are off-contract.

It was this sort of bullshit that we got ourselves into cap trouble over in the first place. FFS, why must this be a secret? Rugby League administration is such a "do-nothing until the last minute" thing, from juniors to NRL. Like jnrs not having a playing time (or even playing day sometimes) finalised until the Wednesday before, every week of a season is insane. Soccer has game times for the season set before rd1.

So amatuerish.
