Almost 2 months in and we have had a good preview of the youngsters as well the new recruits at our club.

Who should we persist with and which players havent worked out?

I agree with that.

I think Okunbor needs to go to cup playing in the second row and learn how to use his shoulders. If you throw him into the 2nd row in first grade he will get annihilated

He needs to learn to tackle but I like the way he runs the ball he would be a far better option than Lichaa off the bench

In regards to the newbies keep Meaney and CHN

Okunbor is a forward who needs time in NSW Cup to work on his defence

Cogger would go better at 9 than at 6 or 7

Lewis looks like a centre or old fashioned lock forward.

Crichton & Sue are absolute disasters

Would not re-sign any of our off contract players

Not until he learns to defend but I’d be pushing him to the forwards down the track he’s got no idea about wing play

Okunbor isn't a second rower. He was played there in the past (and prop mind you) in lower grades and it was an absolute disaster.

Okunbor is extremely down on confidence. He can't catch a ball. He looks really nervous each time he gets traffic his end. He has no idea what he is doing in defence. he hasn't really produced any points in attack as well.

Montoya is a more physical type of player. He can catch a high ball. He is the master of bombing tries and can't score for shit. has poor defence.

Toss a coin with these two. They are as bad as each other

Not yet on Meaney. He needs a stellar performance to win us a game before he makes the cut. He’s a fullback, not a centre. He needs to be extra special and I haven’t seen that yet. Sorry, but he’s no Ben Barba, the last real fullback we’ve had

I still rate Meaney after what I’ve seen From him so far, he is only going to get better, and when he does find open space and can find gaps he will definitely be dangerous and offer some xfactor!! Maybe not barba like, but he will be a good FB.

It took Barba 4 years from when he debuted to really do anything in the NRL!
