Former Sydney Roosters NRL player Paul James Carter has pleaded guilty to supplying cocaine at a Sydney nightclub.

Carter, 25, had been accused of supplying a small quantity of the drug to ex-teammate Shaun Kenny-Dowall at the Ivy nightclub in the early hours of May 5.

He previously pleaded not guilty to one charge of supplying a prohibited drug, but at Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday it emerged he had changed his plea to guilty.

His matter has been adjourned for sentence on November 29.

And as if we did not already know, this is exactly why the Roosters dropped him like a hot brick.

The guy has been nothing but troubled throughout his career and the mutterings about issues leading to him being let go by the Dogs ( and several others Titans and Souths) for breaching code of conduct and specific clauses within his contracts have proven to be true.
