The Penrith Panthers are pleased to announce that centre Wes Naiqama has agreed to join the club on a two year deal.

Naiqama will join the Panthers in 2013, after playing out the remainder of the 2012 season with the Newcastle Knights.

Penrith Panthers General Manager Rugby League Phil Moss said “Wes is a quality player with a wealth of experience. He’ll add great depth to the Panthers back line and we’re excited to see what he’ll bring to our club.”

Out of respect for Wes and Newcastle Knights, the Panthers will not be making any further comment until the end of the season.

So they release Sandor Earl and replace him with Naiqama?

His best days are behind him.
