but back on topic , reeds passion and enthusiasm have people disregarding his flaws . You have players who just come to grade like Alomoti get roasted and reed somewhat Protected .
reed is a liability on defence period . He gets bumped too often and when he does tackles teams get great play the ball speed and the team gets cut up the middle . It’s no coincidence that the eels were purposely spotting him for that exact reason and no more so obvious that sivo was spotting him non stop last week

I often quote stats to support a viewpoint, but there is no stat for quality of pass/service from dummy half. Mahoney wins this hands down over Benji’s half brother. Jeremy makes a few good darts and peole jizz lol. His dummy half service is still mud.

You have players who just come to grade like Alomoti get roasted and reed somewhat Protected .

Reason being, Reed has runs on the board and Alamoti doesn’t. He is still a kid though, but he has glaring issues, mainly lack of speed, which isn’t an easy fix, if it’s even fixable at all. Reed has also had several excellent games so far, but he needs more good players around h8m to really shine.

Old saying lies , more lies & damn statistics. Performance & how value a player is to the team, can not be solely analysed by statistics. Especially so with a hooker, who's ability to read plays is invaluable. Cameron Smith stats was not super impressive but he was a legend of the game
