It's a farce how the cap isn't released at least 2 years in advance. Contacts for next season start 1 November, it's almost October and they still haven't said what the cap is. How do they expect clubs and players to properly plan?

Unfortunately players have different values in the salary cap. Signing players like Kikau and Mahoney is not the same as losing Wakeham and Stimson.

The problem would be solved if we hired the Roosters salary cap accountant, or the Roosters recruitment guru who continually signs super stars for less money than they are currently receiving.
