Opinion Our new "run out " song !

I remember back in 03 or 04 we were playing the tigpies at Bogantown and they played this when we ran out.


The Army was fuming, but we ended up winning by 30 and Utai got a 100m+ try off a knock on lol
 
I’m happy with “Who let the Dogs Out” as the run on song.

What needs to change is the DJ’s run list mid game. 9 out of 10 songs played have nothing to do with what’s happening in the game.

The DJ’s contribution should be pump up songs. With the selection of what gets played relevant to what is happening in the game.

Not that we have been super dominant over many teams. When we do a song like the Angles “Dogs are talking” something to fire people up.

the DJ sets last season with irrelevant hip hop bullshit was bordering on embarrassing.
 
They're playing the wrong Who Let The Dogs Out version. The one they play now is the radio mix version, whereas back in the day they played the one closer to the Barking Mad Mix. That opening mixed with the ground announcer yelling out "YOUR MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC BULLDOGS!!" was fucking fire.

I remember there being a Scribe mix version they used to run out to as well. That was bad arse.
 
Remember the Name - Fort Minor.

The lyrics would need a little tweaking but the chorus works a treat.

It's odd. I think this is organised by the NRL, it's the same crap going on at other stadiums, good songs or not, a lot of the times it just sounds like randomly selected songs.
It'd be better to have a Bulldogs G up song or simply Dogs barking or Bulldogs chant, before a scrum for example. But yeah, the music selection is off

HAS TO BE THIS ONE - It's Also a play on the words from the boys post game song "Are You Ready, Ready, Ready"

The boys start making their way out of the tunnel whilst the guitar intro is playing around the stadium.
Then there's the pause followed by the question blaring through the stadium speakers -

ARE YOU READY?

Then the boys hit the field when the music starts again.

Who all need it ?
You all need it?
We all need it!
Yes we do!!!

IMO, the song needs to resonate with the more people, meaning it needs to be a more wider known song.
This one ticks all the boxes.

It’s worked in wrestling for years… Imagine a bulldogs crowd hearing this in a gf before the boys run out. Massive fire up song!
Kiks could spit water out coming out of the tunnel
