Vaguely remember Connolly playing for us in 93. Wasnt anything wow. Dont recall much from Davies.

Davies and Connolly were both outstanding for the Bulldogs. Many on here will be to young to remember them.....TBH I cannot split them at the moment because they were / are so good in their positions as each other.

You mustn't have seen Davies play. He only had a brief stint but was a freak

How about real english footballers of the 1970's, brian lockwood, mick adams, dougie laughton. they new what to do with a football before and at the line and were as tough as nails.

Davies was a freak , Conolly was one of the best centres going around when he came,and Graham could beat them both in due course...All three are great players lucky to have played with us...

I remember Gary playing in a challenge cup final when he
was 18 .... was either St Helens or Wigan???? ....

Davies ...the Welsh Wizard... I think he went back to
playing half for the Wales Rugby side....

Gary Connolly along with Steve Renouf were arguably the best 2 centres in the world in 1993. Connolly for me.
