8 wins 10 losses is not too crash hot but I assume alot of those losses were in the early years

Pretty similar to the roosters who have won 13 and lost 15

Most were in an 8 team comp. one was when they agreed with Balmain to boycott playing the gf because the nswrl planned a test match on the same day which would overshadow the gf. After Balmain agreed to boycott souths turned up and claimed the title

They won 11 of them before we even entered the comp.

Was it the NSWRL or was it a Union test?

I always thought it was a union test. Regardless of that, that is what Balmain says what happened. Souths maintain no such agreement was in place. It's up to just to choose who to believe.
