What is the one play and what is the one image that stands out for you in season 2009???

the very first kick chase v manly.

set play v canberra right on halftime earlier in the year.

the one play that i think of is the no try against the dragons

but on a more positive note, the kimmorley try against the eels was a good moment

and if you will give me one more play to talk about, the morris acrobatic try on the dead ball line was nice to see

For me the one play that stands out is our first defensive set in the prelim final. I have never seen a set of defense as intense and we mostered them with a big hit on every tackle.

The image that stands out is when the no try call came against St Merge and it flashes to Idris and you see the anguish in his face.

Image would have to be Ennis celebrating after Hannants try vs knights. Play would probably be the set piece before halfime vs Canberra that lead to a Goodwin try.

Also a couple that deserve a metion was Hazems try vs Cowboys (armit flick pass) and roberts solo try against Broncos.

the one thing that stuck out to me was the resiliance of the team, which shone through right till the last minute against parra.

there were plenty of times during the year where i thought "we can't win this" and they just kept going.

panthers, beaten in the last minute
st merge, come from behind victory in last minute
melbourne, lost kimmorley early, played brilliantly thereafter
new zealand, down, b grade team, came back solidly
noth queensland, game 2, injuries galore during the game, came back.
parra prelim final, patten went out early, i knew it wasn't going to be our night, but we lead at half time! and were in the game till the last 15 mins when we shouldve been buried with our broken team.
