oh how i miss the likes of

steve reardon,adam perry,tony grimaldi,darren britt,jamie feeney,dennis scott,
steve hughes,glenn hughes,darren smith,barry ward,

not long ago they were the back bone of our team..
nothing flash
just hardworking
honest
loyal
and best of all
NO FUSS
and bled blue and white

So freaking true, may not be world beaters but they were loyal and you knew you could always count on them and that they would put in 100%, players from today should have a look at these types of players and take a lesso from there books.

Roy would have stayed if he got offered anything reasonable =(

So freaking true, may not be world beaters but they were loyal and you knew you could always count on them and that they would put in 100%, players from today should have a look at these types of players and take a lesso from there books.
They would be to arrogant to even respect those players

whos darren britt? whos barry ward?

how i feel for the young bulldogs fans who didnt get a chance to watch the careers of those champions who made our great club what it is today..and only witness what is played out in the news and on the kennel by this new breed of footballer....

put it this way all the youngsters

imaging having a team with the loyalty of el masri and corey spread across the entire 17,week in,week out

Big Bustling Barry Ward....can you remember the hell he put Mundine through? Maybe got something to do with Sonny's prob and being with the mundine clan....Barry Ward terrorised mundine....

I remember one game we had a scrum attacking the St George line and Barry Ward insisted he go into 5/8.....He was first receiver from the scrum and ran straight over the top of mundine to score....
