Yer they r saying now that patten might miss 6-8 weeks... But the final extent of the injury wont be known until he haves some scans i guess.

Man I dont see the problem with Patten getting injured, just replace him with Cutler. This way we will see the full potential of Cutler due to the fact that he will play a whole game and in his prefered postition.

I predict that this is Cutler's chance to grab the number 1 jersey from Patten full time.

I hope Cutler is capable under the high ball. Thats all we need in a fullback really for someone whose filling in.

Why are you guys writting off Cutler already?

Have you seen him in his prefered postition? NO

Has he been given a chance to display his talents? NO

Am I more confident in having Cutler instead of Patten? YES

Cutler is more stable than Patten IE he doesnt stack it every run he makes, and is better under the high ball, which Campbell and Gower tend to over use. Also Cutler is quicker and if I am not mistaken, he is the fastest player at our club.

Give this guy a break.

Yep i guess ur right there, plus it'll give him some good experience too in 1st Grade.

just because you are more confident of having Cutler than Patten in the side doesn't mean he is a better player. You aren't chief selector Tank.

Well im close to chief selector, my team that I picked on Wednesday was the exact team that took the field on Sunday ;)

But if you were a true fan you would know that Cutler is the goods, just ask the other members who watch PL.

You can write him off already, giving a rats what you think anways.

I don't recall writing Cutler off. In fact he is a promising young player. And I do watch PL and I am impressed with him he looks a fine young prospect. But to say that a young premier league player would be a more valuable asset to the team than an experienced, consistent First Grader who has played representative football is just laughable. Patten is irreplaceable to our side in my opinion, Cutler could fill the hole but I doubt he will offer more than Patten, maybe in the long term but not in 2005.

Irreplaceable?

Let me remind you of "irreplaceable" players: -

* Price
* Vagana
* Halligan

Well Patten is expected to be out for a while, Cutler will fill in just fine.

I don't have a problem with that. What I meant was that Patten is irreplaceable in the short term. Cutler may be a good long term replacement but for this year I guess we'll have to see what he can come up with.

I heard Anasta got syphilis from Sticky Stuart.

Don't think they call him Sticky for no reason!

Its too early to say he will fit in plus if we make it to the finals we all know that finals football is close to Origin football in relation to the intensity, could Culter handle it being raided by bombs and such?

Its a big step up for the youngster, only time will tell.

BTW the players you mentioned we lost Vagana only to un earth a better centre in Willie Tonga and claim a premership, as for Halligan his time came and Hazem stepped up whos the best goal kicker in History now?

Price is undoubtably is the most irreplacable player we could of and did lose unfortunately.
