I was right about the club enquiring about Hayne and showing interest. Parra are signing a few players now (even though they have apparent salary cap problems), which means a big name from them is likely to get released.

O'Connor has potential, but seems to be a Ferguson 2.0.

We desperately need an x-factor player at fullback, I think we need to take some risks if the club is destined for success and I trust Des more than any NRL coach in this regard.

More than likely they have got the release for Sandow.

OR Newspapers are spewing bullshit about the salary cap problems.

Also, O'Connor is a grade A Prick and an overrated rugby player. I'll pass.

I was thinking Sandow a few days ago, although it wouldn't make sense. The guy should be loving life now, to be on that sort of cash and be in reserves + having medical expenses paid for. They would still need to pay him out.

Plus he states he is committed to earning back his wallaby jumper. So if this means he wants to use League for a season than bugger off, sick of hot seat contracts.

The only chance of O'Connor leaving Australian Rugby Union is if the Western Force don't offer him a contract. If they don't then he may go to France/Japan or he may goto Rugby League if he wants to stay in Australia.

If he does expect it to be for 1-2 years tops as he has stated that his primary goal is to work his way back to playing for the Wallabies again. Expect him to jump ship the moment an ARU side offers him a contract.

The aru wont take him back no more they have had a gutfull. The aru have realised that the wallabies are crap with or without him. They have put the infamous red pen through his name. He might go french or jap money or a year or two but long term i see league as his only "better" option.

honestly people on this forum make me laugh you guys wanna sign a reasonably good union player(O'connor) who has had disciplinary issues his whole career with no NRL experience to speak of, yet Don't want a player of Blake Ferguson's calibre a proven State of Origin rep who also has disciplinary issues .

gimme Blake Ferguson any day

Fergo is facing a potential prison sentence / criminal record if found guilty.
I don't recall James O'Connor ever doing anything that bad.

What has JOC done that's so bad?

Nothing remotely close. He just argued with coaches, abused random air hostesses, etc.
