Dean McGlinchey did not play. Josh Gill started and Paki Afu was called up to start on the bench.

It was a close game till it hit the 60th minute mark where the boys ran away with the game at the end.

Aidan Sezer had an excellent game. His kicking game was impeccable and he had a perfect day with 7/7 from goal kicks. He was nailing the conversions from all over the park. Aidan has a very good combo with Nathan Massey and they both read each other's attacking plays well.

Nathan Massey was brilliant at fullback, making countless try saves and always involved in the play. It is a shame that he will be leaving for the Green Machine next year.

Paki played with some grunt and attracted 3-4 players each time he carried the ball and always looked for an offload where possible. He played about 40 mins and his fitness will excel in the coming weeks.

Nehe Millner-Skudder was nippy and dangerous at right centre. Scored two tries. Tyran Smith was present and having a chat to the young lad after the game.

Yet ANOTHER one gets away...Seems this club is like a development squad for other clubs.

You'd want to hope so, beacuse its average at best at the moment.

It was neck and neck in the first half and to be honest I felt nervous when they took the lead at the start of the 2nd half. The Storm were up for this game with the promotion of 4 of their SG Ball players. They won last week and were full of confidence.

Their right centre scored a hat-trick and had the best of Lafai. In the end our discipline and defence was the difference and they finally broke. We scored 4 unanswered tries after that and that was all she wrote.
