As yet O'Neill does not have a contract for next year whereas 4 halfbacks in Hutchison, Sexton, Hayward & Woods all have top30 deals for 2025.
That’s crazy as I was really impressed with the maturity and ball playing skills that he has shown when I seen him surely he is extended for a a year or two extra I would be very disappointed if we don’t.

Sexton is only signed for this year. If he doesn’t push out Hutch he will be gone. Hutch also looks like a one year stop gap. Hayward also looks like he is being turned into a 9. Should be space for him. Problem would be if a team like tigers or dragons offer him a good contract that is well above minimum. That might make him hard to keep, otherwise we will def make space for him.

He is only 21 isnt he? he needs a break out year and he can press for first grade.

Think either 20 or 21 somewhere around their and yes if we played a 18 year old Oloapu I’m more than confident he’ll likely get some game time in first grade this year but knowing Ciro they will probably play him out of position at lock or something haha.

4July 2023, The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs are pleased to announce the signing of Toby Sexton effective immediately and until the end of the 2025 season. NRL.com Signings Tracker have been wrong this year also not showing Blake Wilson's 2025 contract.

Hope so, I like him. I he sorts his defence out I think he could be a long term option. Hopefully in 25 or latest 26 we see halves combo of Sexton and Oneil.

25 is probs a bit optimistic, maybe a 14 towards the backend like JT. Anyway we are building a nice squad of players. Our abundance of centres and 6s will be thinned out by next year and just need to replace them with a cope of quality props, nothing crazy just King level quality, hopefully at least 1 a bit bigger and we will have a very competitive side.

Maybe plan is to start drinking early, go off after cup wins. Fall asleep before NRL, save getting upset!!!!

When does Damon Marshall step up into NSW Cup. Having only read reports on him, seems a first grader in waiting

He’s still a baby. No need to rush him. Still quite undersized despite being ripped.
