Just missing out on third place could prove very costly. The 'after the siren' penalty goal and/or Mounties capitulation last week means we finished fourth and now play sudden death against the Eels - whereas had we held onto third we would be playing a very understrength Panthers side (the flow-on effect of them resting their NRL side this week).
IF we beat the Eels this week we will probably have to face a full strength Panthers next week in another elimination game.

going to have to play them at some stage, but agree that penalty has cost us big time. Thats why he is reserve grade

The Panthers side will be a very different one with Cleary resting the ENTIRE starting 13 from this weeks game.

Skelton out for todays game and replaced in the centres by (wait for it)...... Isaac Lumelume.

Zach Dockar-Clay comes straight into the second row as well, with Stuckey moving to prop and Tanner on bench.

Parra have moved Hands to the bench, named Arthurs in the halves, and also promoted Nathan Brown to the bench.

Gonna be a real challenge to win this one.
