Brad Fitler names a 64 player squad, broken into 3 categories:
NSW Blues Squad - likely to play origin or be there abouts in 2020.
Emerging Blues - Players a couple of years away from breaking into the NSW team.
Future Blues - Players that might be there in 5 or 6 years.
Only 1 bulldogs player out of 64 and thats a future blue.
We're facing an uphill battle again next year.

Another statistic of having a barely existent junior program in the period 2012-2017. The way our junior program is now starting to show promise again, more Dogs can be expected to be seen in these future Blues squads. In the meantime no biggie - in fact great that we can keep their development focussed on the Dogs - rep rewards can come later.

He can pick players that might be there in 5 or 6 years time? Blokes taking it to a whole new level. Still, not as good as the cricket commentators. They can actually read the minds of the batters standing at the crease.

Josh Jackson went from being Brad Fittler medal winner and future captain of NSW to being completely left right out of the squad. How does Curtis Sironen get picked before him? Anyway I guess thats comes as a result of the form of the club over the last few years...

Good to see where got plenty emerging talent coming thru

Because only Dog fans actually rate Jackson highly...most other fans joke about it tbh. Sterling rates him though.

Bullshit man. Other people rate him as highly as Lachlan Lewis :grinning:

Fuck me! How the fuck is Jackson not considered ahead of the likes of brown and sironen. This is a disgrace.

Nobody actually rates him either, they just like him. I didn't see other fans complaining when we re-signed him, they just said things like "good to see him stay at the dogs". When players that are actually good and rated re-sign with their clubs, you say "ANOTHER ONE OFF THE LIST".

True story.

I think people just want to see the Josh Reynolds/Lachlan Lewis combo running off Jackson haha

Exactly, running off Jackson, because he's a better ball player than the two of them combined.

Didn't read, to busy.

Bring Finucane back to Belmore wit dat big budget

Good squad, few missing that should be there as well aka jacko being one lol.
