SEE YA, SEMI

Former Parramatta star Semi Radradra appears likely to stay in rugby union after a number of stunning performances for Fiji at the Rugby World Cup.

Radradra met with Canterbury powerbrokers before the tournament kicked off to express an interest in luring back to the code in 2021 after his deal runs out with French rugby club Bordeaux.

Eels coach Brad Arthur also said he’d be keen to bring him back to the club where he scored 82 tries in 94 games.

But after a number of eye-catching games, The Daily Telegraph reports NRL clubs simply won’t have the money to sign Radradra

NRL clubs COULD have the money to sign Semi, accept no one wants to spend 10-15% of their cap on a 29yo winger-centre.

Solutions:

- Raise the cap
- Get rid of the cap

Neither of those solutions will be acted on, because the way the game is being run and officiated at the moment, getting rid of the cap will create a mess, and income isn't sufficient to raise the cap enough to bring players like Semi into the game.

Meh it's his decision...…….. Would go to the Rorters anyways.

Exactly.... $10 towards salary cap and uncle Nick will find a third party that pays him $2 million.... this third party bullshit can only be taken advantage of by one team clearly, and that's the Roosters! When you have an uncle Nick type in your board room you can get whichever player you want!

Apparently Wolfpack next target is Radrada

The nrl need a 1 player for every team marquee allowance so we dont lose players like semi/sbw

Maybe it's a positive if these money hungry grubs piss off elsewhere what with the associated drama they inevitably come with?
