Fkn 9s, then all stars and then trials (all in the summer heat) and they are wondering why injuries are up and players are buggered in the second half of the year.

Add rep games like origin and they simply play too much footy. Greedy nrl just want to squeeze everything they can from fans wallets at the expense of the players.

Which is exactly why you wouldn't send ur best to play long minutes in the 9s... Trials unfortunately are a necessary evil...
