This Wakeham really isn’t the messiah that this forum seems to think he is.

Seeing Sam Williams of all people go past him seemingly nonchalantly to score a try was also a bit concerning.

i think wakeham has showed promise but i do agree, i remember people being quite outraged whenever the likes of ben roberts, billy ngawini and aaron groom the last time we were in this position (simply not enough talent at the present moment to make the 8)

wakeham should play a fair amount of footy this season, it doesn't have to start round 1 and i'd honestly suggest our chances of winning round 1 are probably smaller with him picked over 1 of the other 2

Or he could stay on as defence coach if he doesn't get any offers as a head coach with another NRL Zclub....could see him head over to SL where he would probably go ok.

SL would be his only option to coach if it fails here. This is his shot at the title and if it fails he will join the likes of Jason Taylor, Trent Barrett, Anthony Griffin, Nathan Brown etc.
