Next year starting team for 2016

The only solution I see is that all the guys need to get neutered. It seems clear that all the boys who have just had a baby are having shockers after the delivery, Lafai, Kas, now Mbye all have the newborn syndrome.

IMO we have a player in our squad who if he would in the offseason

-drop a few kgs
-knuckle down hard at training
-refocus mentally

be the most damaging and lethal Lock in the game especially with the reduction of the interchange. His job would be to roam around the ruck and not play as a prop but none of the above will happen and it's just wishful thinking

At a glance, it seems most of you have Lichaa as starting hooker, ahead of Cook.

I though Cook was one of the few threats we had in attack toward the end of the year, and his defence (mostly) showed good signs.

I'd go with Cook, although I don't need to justify the decision to pay Lichaa good coin - Des does.

Don't know if it matters to anyone but Josh jackson was voted second rower of the year on nrl.com and Lichaa came 3rd for hookers and Jmoz second in centres to jennings who I think jmoz has been better than this year

The off season will be interesting because this is the only time Des will drop players for someone better (example rona) once we see the run of side for 2016 it will stay like that for the rest of the year unless we get injuries/suspensions/origin.

You're right on both counts pupmichelle. If Kasiano did do what you suggested he would be the most damaging forward in the NRL, but he wont.

You're dead right with your reasoning that Cook would be a much better overall option as hooker.

The thing that will stop this happening is Hasler's perception of what we need as a hooker. Lichaa wii be at no.9, told to leave his attacking flair in his locker and transformed into a defensive robot. We will have a 40-50 tackle a game hooker providing no go forward from dummy half leaving us once again up shit creek with no paddle.

He could be a Taumolalo if he gave a shit about his game and the club. But the buck stops with the coach.
