CC definitely knows how to utilise thd strengths of certain players and limit usage of their weaknesses. This is something Barrett could not seem to do.
Barrett couldn't use them?
He didn't know what they were...
He was totally clueless

Chill...

Forget the players. Let's just focus on the small tactical changes like variations in attack then. I mentioned Kikau and Mahoney, but there's been clear changes to existing players like Averillo and even Waddell FFS.

We've still had great players in recent years, but they've been used so one out that every other team saw our attack as a joke and the easiest team to defend.

Make of that as you will.
I think you'll find it's more Mick Potter, our 2 time Dally M winner, who knows attacking football, working with a much better roster than what previous coaches had to work with who should be getting the kudos.
Even then it takes time to unlearn Desball and not fall back into bad habits under pressure.
Our start of sets is leaps and bounds ahead of the last few seasons, as is our metres our back 5 are now punching out...hoping we continue to develop.

It looks like a continuation from last season, except we do look a lot better in the 20m zone. Mahoney is the key with his service, he can play short off the ruck or hit the halves out the back.

Having two quality backrowers in Kiks & Prestonmania gives the halves some options.
