The bloke has form and quite frankly is nothing better than a thug. Not once but at least three times he put on this type of shot and you could see him launch himself out of the defensive line with intent . Looking at the video of the "tackle" in question it was
a) late and unnecessary
b) a shoulder charge in the true sense of the laws of the game thus illegal play
c) premeditated with the intent to cause injury
Absolutely disgusting and one of the worst I have seen. With the NRL ramping up the policing of tackles that don't need to be made and can cause a concussion, this bloke should have gotten at least 6 weeks.
No surprise that he only gets two weeks though for that effort when a 'nut crusher' went completely unpunished in a game two years ago. Remember this????

Brown’s ‘dog act’ makes mockery of MRC
Nathan Brown should be in the doghouse for some time after his idiotic penalty cost Adam Reynolds and Souths a matchwinning golden point field goal against the Titans.
The match review committee should join him after they and the on field referees missed him
stomping opponent Agnatius Paasi in a tackle 20 seconds earlier.
The incident, labelled a “dog act” by premiership winning half Brett Kimmorley went unpunished when it first occurred in the 83rd minute and inexplicably, upon review on Monday, with no charge laid by the MRC.
Watch the incident and Brett Kimmorley’s reaction in the video player at the top of the page.
“How does it not get looked upon in the game?” Kimmorley said on
Fox Sports News before the NRL released its charge sheet on Monday.
“How do we miss a stomping? A deliberate stomping.
“He looks at him on the ground. He kicks him, he 100 per cent kicks him, steps on him, whatever you want to call it.
“It should have been a penalty and put on report. He’ll definitely have time out of the game.”
When asked what’s an adequate punishment would be Kimmorley replied: “three weeks — four weeks.
“It’s a dog act isn’t it?
“It’s not an accidental high shot where it’s a timing issue. I don’t want that in the game.”
Given the judiciary’s record this season, this was a litmus test for just what exactly constitutes foul play in the game, and where such acts stand. A litmus test failed spectacularly.
AND this the very next week?????
AND a few years earlier this?????

The frosty under-20s rivalry between Canberra and Wests Tigers is reaching breaking point, and Raiders coach Mick Mantelli has branded the Tigers a ‘‘niggly’’ team following the suspension of four players for their part in an ugly brawl on Saturday night.
Canberra forwards Tahakilu Pangai (grade-five contrary conduct) and Mitch Barnett (grade-four contrary conduct) took early guilty pleas, and subsequent three-week suspensions.
Nathan Brown and Kyle Lovett of the Tigers were hit with grade-two and grade-three contrary-conduct charges respectively. It is unknown whether they will contest the charges at the judiciary.
Barnett and Brown were sent off when the violence erupted close to full-time at Campbelltown, while Pangai and Lovett were sin-binned.
