because Michael Morgan is going to retired and now cowboys don’t have a good half, if we don’t get Brandon smith, we can trade Wakeham for Ruben cotter or Reece Robinson

I doubt anyone will be interested in Wakeham. He's struggling to do anything in Reserve Grade.

Nth Qld still have Clifford and Drinkwater for this season and can put Holmes at fullback. This is a huge break for Nth Qld though. Morgan has been average for seasons on the rare occasions he has played and will free up a million in cap space. They'll probably make a huge run at Reynolds now.

We might have a chance of beating them now
You guys probably will TBQH as we are good at one thing and that is to make other shit teams look good :(

Here’s hoping that my lot can find someone that is a decent leader on the field with that fuck this we are doing this now as Thursty did time and time again (he so needs to be cloned)

He was a class act, on and off the field. For a while there, every time he touched the ball you expected something to happen.

nothing worse than when a player is forced out of the game due to injury... Morgan had great moments for the Cowboys in the halves and at fullback and got the club to a GF without Thurston... played Origin and Test football... nothing left to prove

He won’t retire poor as the Cowboys will have to pay him out for the remainder of his contract which is estimated to be just over $2.5 mill after he signed a 5 year contract at $1m a season
