I tend to agree but I think it's worse than that. We seemed to be switched off mentally before a point was scored. We just didn't have our head in the game at any point.

cogger is a dumb shit, okunbor looks shaky under every single high ball even the ones with 0 pressure and we need size in the forwards. rhys martin played like shit and the rest of our forwards weren't too far behind. Great coaching as well, leaving chris smith on the bench until the last 15 minutes and carrying an extra hooker when our forwards are already undersized and our biggest forward is out injured

All the media and hype got to their heads - They forgot that they needed to maintain the intensity because that was the reason they were performing better. This loss may help build some humility and resilience one would hope.

The fact is we have one if the most inexperienced and least talented squads in the comp and if we aren’t 100% on our game results like this will happen. We were missing 2 of our more experienced players today and turning rookies into consistent NRL players takes time. After being up for two weeks this type of let down was coming sooner or later.
