I didn't think JT was all that bad, however as time has gone on, he has proven himself to be a dictators asshole. How on Earth something like this can happen in a country like Canada is beyond me. You'd think all those world leading countries would be a lot more civilised than this.
 
Candace Owens is the same one that said that the Australian government had military threatening to shoot people if they left their homes due to Covid, and that our government were putting people in interment camps.

That said, there is some shocking stuff going on there. JT has enacted emergency laws that allows the arrest of peaceful protesters (the Canadian constitution protects peaceful protest), and there has been many reports of police brutality. Oddly enough, there has also been reports of police helping get fuel and food supplies to the protesters. So it sounds like there's some conflict even within the police.

Yeah that's true. Police are humans too so sometimes the common sense prevails. It's just not something you'd see happening in a country like that. No surprise this happens within his 1st year after the election.
