Hey guys,

Just thought I’d create a thread for us comic nerds. And yes, I know Disney is pimping out Marvel and DC has fallen behind in some way, but let’s forget about Hollywood for a sec, and actually talk comics as geeks lol. I’ve always been intrigued by both sides of the comic industry.

My fave comic growing up was Spawn. Back in the early 90’s. They did make a movie on it but I found it a little disappointing.

Awesome! I’m up to episode 5 of secret invasion. Guardians 3 was fire. Across the spider verse is the best spidey movie ever made imo.

It’s a classic. Just because it never transverse over to cinema successfully doesn’t mean it’s a bad comic.. But a fantastic comic nonetheless

Not DC or marvel related but I just finished reading the invincible comic series and thought it was great.

Now the show can't live up to expectations as so many plots are just skipped over

Question. Do people still read Phantom comics? Would Hollywood make another movie?

It's the top selling comic in Australia. Huge in Sweden and India. Phantom enthusiasts are always agitating for another movie. I don't know that Hollywood see it as a winner.
