I think the order was:

Great GF played 140 odd games for Souffs
Grandfather played like 200 games for the Drags
Father played 99 games for the Gold Coast

It appears his old man only played two seasons on gold coast, so he may have exaggerated his experience. In the video I saw, Max says to him something like "I didn't know we were counting reserve grade"
