Mr peterman ?Aren’t you from Burma?
Mr peterman ?Aren’t you from Burma?
5 internationals out injured is not a crisis? Mostly quality forwards and our best 2 metre eaters in Kiraz and Let’s Trott.. no spine in the comp can play well off the back of poor go forward.Seriously....all this injury talk....half the injured players are depth players or fringe first graders. Stop making excuses....Sure...we've had TPJ, Kikau, Thompson, Brown, JAC, Kiraz and now King out. Pele and Hughes not regular FG's. TPJ has been back a couple of weeks now. Brown and Pele back this week. Hardly losing our entire roster. Most teams have 2 or 3 regular FG's out most weeks whether it be from injury or suspension. I tell you the coach doesn't accept injuries as an excuse. We shouldn't either.
We've had our 1,6,7 and 9 there every game. Some teams would kill for that. Storm have had 1, 6,7 out a few games too. We beat them without their 6, yet I don't hear them complaining. Roosters have had 4 or 5 regular FG's out most weeks...do they complain?
Yes the game values revenue over player safety that is for sure.Seriously.....Rugby league is self imploding...I'm convinced it's not a curse. It's got to be the way the games changed over the last 3 years...surely.
Difference is our spine isn’t our strengths, the players we have out are our strengths like King,Kiraz,JAC,Kiks etc.Seriously....all this injury talk....half the injured players are depth players or fringe first graders. West Coast Eagles hired some fitness guru conditioning guy to get their team super fit in the off season and their team has been devastated with soft tissue injuries to the point where their reserves are struggling to put a team on the park. It could be overtraining.. too much redlining at training. Why would they hire the ****?
Yes they do complain and they lose games, You think fans from other clubs don’t care if they lose there 1st grade players?Seriously....all this injury talk....half the injured players are depth players or fringe first graders. Billy Tsikrakas should come inKing deserves and needs a spell. He has been exceptional.
Next man up.
Contradiction much? “Half the injured players are depth players”. Out of the list you select only Pele and Hughes as the not regular first graders. The majority of the injured players ARE rep players. No team can compete with that extent of injury. You know our depth is lacking when you have fill ins like Okunbor and Topine taking the fieldSeriously....all this injury talk....half the injured players are depth players or fringe first graders. Jeez lucky Gus came out and said this, we were about to get our strength and conditioning staff sacked lmaooo
didnt happen at training......
I don't think the people suggesting potential issues with conditioning care whether the injury happens at training or in a game. What they're saying is we are getting injuries at a much higher rate than other clubs, and the strength and conditioning team have been at two previous clubs where the same thing happened.. so perhaps they aren't preparing the players correctly.Jeez lucky Gus came out and said this, we were about to get our strength and conditioning staff sacked lmaooo
Some of you really need to take what the media says with a huge grain of salt, but then again you all got jabbed at the drop of a hat when the super virus was around
People forget to understand the brutality the players bodies endure in this sport. Our bodies aren’t built for this shit, someone with a physics degree explain newtons law. If anything, one would assume the more u get flogged and prepared for the constant impacts at training the more reslilent the body would be ? Look at Kobe and jordan they trained all day every day and had lung successful careersI don't think the people suggesting potential issues with conditioning care whether the injury happens at training or in a game. It needs to be evaluated as to whether this is a factor.I don't think the people suggesting potential issues with conditioning care whether the injury happens at training or in a game. think Touma is one of the best out there. I’m seeing our fitness levels are a at a rate which we haven’t seen since des days.. it’s just that all the boys haven’t been used to it and I guess next year their bodies after a rest will come back firing. I’m liking it obviously not the injuries but at least these guys look good in games. It needs to be evaluated as to whether this is a factor.
Amazing that Souths let us have Touma so readily...maybe they had their own misgivings and decided best to let him go....just a theory.
Who knows but statisticlly we are well above normal as far as injury unavailability with Top 30.think Touma is one of the best out there. my other theory is what if Cameron is really testing all the players mentality and see how they react, aka fox keeps saying his ready to play and staff are saying not just yet buddy. When we had Dan Ferris the boys in games look gassed in the games after 50th minute. This time around they do genuinely look like a 80 minute team. It’s just getting the halves pairing and fullback position sorted for us to fire
