Mbye to fullback, frawley to halfback and rotate mbye with bmoz at fullback during the game depending on where we are on the field. In our own half bmoz is better coming out and defensively, but closer to opposition line or in their half play mbye there as he has better ball playing skills and can chime in on a backline movement and pass and put a grubber in. Frawley just has to be there. Nuff said.

In just two weeks Matt Frawley has shown coach Des Hasler he has:

• A good short kicking game
• That he can pass the ball left to right & right to left
• That he can tackle
• That he can beat a defender with a dummy, run and score a try
• That he has vision & can throw a long accurate pass to set up a try
• That he is a good half back

Whereas in over a season Moses Mbye has shown that he is fucking useless as a half back.
So waddya reckon Des?

Its Lichaa's final contract year put M'bye at hooker and forget about Lichaa. We know what he offers and can bring him back into the team if that fails. M'bye has played there before.

Fullback is more of a risk because we have not seen him under the high ball and positioning is a big shift and important there.

Centers might be fine but its a big price for a center. Maybe we just have to swallow it though.

he should be a fullback, he clearly has a passing game, but he goes missing in the halves and wouldn't be relied on for full playmaking duties

That's the trick Hasler pulled when he finally realised that Hodko couldn't run on one leg. Maybe now he's got the drift that Mbye isn't a half back. So tonight after the poo has well and truly hit the propellor Dessie will wait until there's about 10 or less minutes to go before he does the magical halves reshuffle hoping for another last minute miracle.
