THANKS to Mark Gasnier's impending return to the Dragons, this is how you're likely to see the Morris twins for the rest of their careers: in opposing colours.
As revealed earlier this year, the Dragons were preparing to reclaim Josh from Belmore in 2012 - but it's now understood the joint venture simply won't have the money or space in their backline to accommodate the Bulldogs star should they snare Gasnier.

"There wouldn't be room for him if Gaz returns," said a Dragons insider. "You can't have them all."

The tryscoring duo have made no secret of their desire to reunite but will have to be content with outings together in representative fixtures.

"It was very special to play with each other for Australia [last year]," said St George Illawarra winger Brett.

"These days the only time we get to play together is during representative football so we will both be staking our claims for a NSW jersey this weekend."

Rugby league fans are bracing themselves for a tryscoring blitz tomorrow night with the pair to lock horns when the Bulldogs take on St George Illawarra at ANZ Stadium.

"I think you would have to back Brett for the first tryscorer," Josh said. "I think our brother [Scott] is filthy with me at the moment but he might put his money on me this weekend because [Brett] will be so short. I'll be hoping I get in first."

SHARKS chairman Damian Irvine has made a lightning trip to Los Angeles to service the other half of his business life - celebrity suits.

Cronulla's top administrator is in Tinseltown this week to fit out Aussie boy band Human Nature with some new threads for their performance at a top local casino.

Irvine co-owns Skin Deep, a funky suit store on Elizabeth St in the city.

NRL funnyman Liam Fulton last week had the City team in stitches, turning his talents to bookmaking.

"He was framing a betting market for everything," a City insider said.

"He's got the TAB covered. They have a few markets but Liam was framing odds for how late the bus would be and who would eat the most dinner.

"The Tigers boys were even silly enough to place bets with him."

WE'RE tipping dumped Eels media manager Ross Smart will resurrect his NRL career at Canterbury after Bulldogs PR man Frank Barrett finishes up on Friday night.

There was no shortage of confusion when Parramatta retrenched Smart at the end of last season, given his excellent work promoting the club during its fairytale finals run.

COUNTRY Origin legend Laurie Daley has predicted a bright coaching future for Cowboys assistant coach Matt Parish. Daley employed Parish to be his offsider in the build-up to last week's City-Country showdown and he could not have been happier with the outcome. "I didn't really know much about Matt when I asked him to take on the role but he was certainly the right man for the job," Daley said.

"The players really responded to him and I am sure given an opportunity, he will advance one day in the coaching ranks."

With the boys still quoted as wanting to play together again and St Merge admitting they can't afford Josh what do you guys reckon the chance of Brett coming to us will be??

Um they forgot about Matt Cooper, im sure he is on a big contract. They could easily fit Josh in if they piss him off.

Also, who says Brett won't join us?

If we resign Josh then it's a good chance as it was 50/50 decision for Brett last time. I still think if they don't resign Cooper they'll be able to afford Josh though.

What's with the DT wanking over the idea of reuniting the Morris boys??

They're just dying to take Josh away from us. And LOL@revealing plans to snare Josh earlier in the year. We should believe you why??

**** off

Origin together
then brett joins the dogs in 2 years when turner is washed up
for some reason i cant see them re-united would they both make SOO if they were playing for the same club team ......?
i think the reason they were both picked for australia was that they were playing good footy for there club teams i think if they were in the
same team the selectors would go with 1 or the other i think personaly its best they play agaist each other more chance of them both being
picked to play rep footy...!
just me thinking out loud

They're going to give Cooper's money to Gasnier. They're at the limit now so where is Gasnier going to get that much money from?

I heard the dragons position in signing Morris got a whole lot Stronger if Gasnier comes back in fact is a negoatiation tool. Apparently Coopers money will go to Gasnier and Darius Boyd will return to the Broncos and Peni Tgaive who was signed for an amazing 200k a yr being realesed. Morris signed Nightingale to fullback the source of this cant get it wrong. Morris has been in discussions will bulldogs management since the Roosters game this year and has knocked back an inital offer

Dragons cant afford everybody. If Morris picks up his form and can command more money by cementing a rep spot i doubt they could afford both of them anyway..

Either way who cares. Morris actually should start performing for us first

ALSO. Who says we will be able to afford him and Idris? I think we have seen the extent of Morris's capabilities, but Idris is still only learning which is a scary thought. He could be amazing and i would rather have him

Bennett stays Boyd will, Brett morris doesnt rate the dogs team and coaching staff highly as josh, it will be more likely the ways the morris boys will be together if Josh wants to play under Bennett. But that is unlikely Josh opinion is different to Bretts so the only way it seems they will play together is in rep games.

Both the morris boys will stay at the clubs they are now for a while yet
