Stats never tell the whole story though, well they do but don’t at times.

That last one, line breaks is probably because of the attacking strengths of the teams they play for. TBH, apart from Burton’s try assists from his attacking kicks we pretty much don’t have much in attack(looking at the season as a whole) players start to take individual runs more trying to pinch a try any which way they can. In Mahoney case, he’s got a pretty good spine that will demand the ball more and a team that creates with ball in hand so he will tend to pass more than run. Honestly, would you have confidence giving it to Flanagan for a settler to a forward or to Moses. Just saying.

Bro these people don't understand. The only reason fucking JUNK was playing good this season was for a new contract. Once the **** gets a new contract he will start playing shit and wait till the last year to play good. Mahoney, on the other hand, isn't playing well becasue he gets bitched around his teamates because it's his last year at the club and they want the best out of him, which is what affected him to play well like the 2020 and 2021 seasons.

He got a contract weeks ago and has gotten better since. He hasn’t been bad for us and is playing better this year because he has a better forward pack.

His pass selection was ordinary close to the line, thought he should have gone to burton on the left side more. But maybe flanno was over calling him and burton isnt vocal enough? The set was set up numerous times for burton to run and use his step but it went to flannigan instead

Has anyone been worried watching his form this season? His service is still absolutely first class but his decision making has been awful compared to last season and his running game non existent. Defensively he hasn't been as good either. He's still a good hooker but he isn't looking like the top tier hooker I thought we'd be getting.

Mahoney is getting absolutely man handled this season in both attack and defence, missed EIGHT tackles this week. Among hookers he currently sits 4th for missed tackles and 1st for line break and try causes. Really hope his shoulder is okay but signs aren't great, 4 years is a long time...
