Oh my boy Boosty, you're expertise is required here my friend.

Earlier this morning I was watching the news and there was an ad for a car brand called Mahindra & Mahindra.

Now I'm thinking here we go, another new Chinese car brand ready to dump their crap on our shores... however I was in for a wake up call, for these cars are not from China... rather... from INDIA!!!

Apartently, these guys have been operating since 1949, and have over 100,000 employees (impressive)... but what's far from impressive is their fleet, which has a total of 4 (yes FOUR) whole cars.

Thought Toyota was the national brand.

Not having a large offering isn’t actually a bad thing, brands that tend to offer less focus better on what you get.

Test drove one a while back. Good quality, but ugly as they come. They went all out on production though. Built test tracks that do full off road challenges.

old news bro,

Mahindra is in Australia for almost last 15 years if not more.

Like most indian men, ugly but full of smarts and good value for money.

Did it come with discounts on your international calls or power bill?

by the way India is also now building F-16 for Lockheed Martin and the rest of the world.

Welcome to the new "Made in India" era.

Back to the Glory days of India producing 35% of the world's GDP .

You've only just heard of Mahindra? They've only been selling in Australia for about 15 years.

They're rough and ugly AF, but i'd imagine they're probably pretty tough, if they have been built for indian conditions.

at the local school I saw some kids getting dropped off in their mahindra scorpion SUV, I thought poor kids must be embarrassed. Like a big upright looking eski, would handle terribly.. I looked up the specs and it had about 380nm but I think weighed a good 2.2 tonns.. plus it’s a 6 seater not a 7 seater.. the middle row has 2 seats.. ridiculous stupid car. crap car brands popping up, xpeng, leapfrog, cherry, ldv , gwm, like going on aliexpress

but my head spun around today as MG released a car for $122,000!!! Cybersta.. who is going to pay $120k for an impractical Chinese car that people will laugh at?? Renters would but they can’t afford it, home owners won’t buy a MG and pay over $120k for it. Otherwise they wouldnt be home owners

I’d argue buying the wife a Mahindra is a form of domestic violence.. the husband drives a Mercedes and she has to be embarrassed to show up in a mahindra scorpion. :grinning:.

was watching a YouTube clip of exotic cars driving through Monaco… imagine after a Bugatti, Ferrari, Porsche. A few Mercedes G-wagons and Lamborghini …. Then a Mahindra scorpion drives through

Will kids everywhere start asking around for a year 12 formal car? Imagine getting dropped off in a mahindra scorpion!

I thought about it looks well built I did a bit of research on it would have got one just didn’t like the look of it. Was priced at $27k

I thought this was about Indra, you know the storm dude.

Does the HEAD-gasket of the car wobble like its fellow countrymen head wobble when they talk?
