Bill Crews does fantastic job from his joint in Ashfield. My only personal anecdote was about 15 years ago, I found myself alone for Xmas, and I called them a few days beforehand to see if they needed any volunteers for the day. I was told by a nice lady that thanks but they had plenty of volunteers, but if was going to be on my own, I was welcome to come for lunch. Didn't take them up on the offer (probably just got drunk at home instead)...
