I have just got home (back to Aus) and bought a new 160GB iPod Classic. I need to fill it up with great music.

I used to use LimeWire to d/l all my music but as we all know this has been shut down.

Can any one please recommend a good alternative to this program.

P.S. I use a mac if this makes a difference

Thanks in Advance :D

Band Name > Album Title > Mediafire > Google Search

Band Name > Album Title > Blogspot > Google Search

You're welcome.

Get uTorrent (search in google), then download torrents from Piratebay. Simple. Not sure why anyone used limewire in the first place, what a piece of **** that was.

Mongoose - Doesn't this breach you rules regarding unauthroised content ??

Or is that just because you're a Windows/Microsoft lackey ???
Torrent programs and/or Piratebay don't necessarily have to be used to download illegal material, do they? :grinning:

The same can be said with any file sharing service.

------------

Back to the thread. If you want something that has the same feel as LimeWire you could go with FrostWire.

Torrents are pretty reliable however there is always a big risk that a record company/movie studio is seeding the mp3 on the other end. This means they'll get a hold of your ip address and will end up chatting to your isp about you.

Another alternative is using rapidshare/hotfile/mediafire etc. Just as reliable as torrents. No seeder on the other end so you minimise your risk. Only drama is you need to pay for an account unless you can get your hands on some usernames & passwords

The End

PS. lol at buying the CD
