I thought he wasn't that bad in the first half.

When he failed to find touch deep into their territory midway through the second half that was a major turning point in the game. He swung the momentum to the dragons. Things just got worse from there on for him which hurt our team.

Other than not finding touch I think Lewis had a pretty decent game. Not having Foran there for the whole second half didn’t help his cause. Don’t know why Foz didn’t come back on, must have been the toe injury. JMK didn’t help take any pressure off Lewis when he moved to 5/8.
Lewis and the other young halves just need a coach who can help them develop their game. out of the 3 young halves Lewis would still be my pick. Had Chritan scored in the corner Lewis wins us the game with that cut out pass and all of a sudden he’s the game winner. Can’t wait for Chritan to be dropped, he’s nowhere near 1st grade quality, any winger worth their salt would have scored in the corner. Why they didn’t bring Averillo into the side today at Centre and push Montoya to the wing is beyond me.
I know some of you won’t agree with me but this is my opinion.

Lewis did more in 80 mins

That is exactly how I see it too. Lewis puts everything into the game because we are lacking in defense but unfortunately it tires him out

If georgalis dropped wakeham due to an average couple of games he'd wanna follow through with lewis.

Neither of them are any good at halfback but if wakem was there we lose by a lot more but none of them are halfbacks, we need a specialist halfback, if we had one we would have won that game today.

Bottom line is, it doesn’t matter what you’ve done well. As a halfback when you single handedly blow a won game in the manner that Lewis did today, with absolutely zero game management he shouldn’t be playing first grade. Let’s not forget it’s not like he was great all season and this was one hiccup. He has never been even half decent ever. A schoolboy halfback would’ve closed out the game today. That’s NOT an exaggeration.

I do agree. Unless the commentators got it wrong I think the coach made a poor call not bringing foran back into the game.

Lewis is NOT going to get any better and fails to do even the most basic of things, yes our other options might not be as physical developed as him but there's far more potential in them. I'd rather see them get a shot and fail instead of wasting time with a deadshit that only tackles and puts up bombs...that is going to get us NO WHERE.
