Did he just not make the kiwi team or even train on squad or has he defected to Samoa for good?
Lol, he's easily good enough to make the Kiwi team. He's not good enough to make the Kiwi side and as for defecting to Samoa, it's a massive shitfight. Players seem to do whatever they like.
I totally agreeLol, he's easily good enough to make the Kiwi team.
Agree!!!We were killing it when he was starting prop beating the broncos in that run then supercoach des puts sam on bench and tols to starting prop and we played shit from then on
He used to be good enough, now he isn't. He has been dumped. Taukeiaho, Lolohea Kata and a few others played in the Samoa/Tonga game and they got picked for the Kiwis, Sam hasn't because he isn't good enough.Lol, he's easily good enough to make the Kiwi team.
You cant be serious ! What more do you want from a forward?Agree!!!
Actually if there is a player over rated here on the kennel it's bloody Aiden Tolman
Maybe quality over quantity!!!You cant be serious ! What more do you want from a forward?
The possibility of breaking the line or an offload would be nice. Getting out the way on tackle 4 would also be awesome! You cant be serious ! What more do you want from a forward?
Yes every team needs ONE and only ONE not two starting props who are work horses. The possibility of breaking the line or an offload would be nice. Getting out the way on tackle 4 would also be awesome!
But seriously, he is a work horse and every team needs one
The Toa squad is made up form players who qualify for Samoa through their parents or grandparents and are either Kiwis or Aussies (or there is Frank Pritchard, born in Liverpool Hospital an he played for NZ and Samoa!!) and they only pledge allegiance to Samoa when they do not make the NZ or Aus squads. There is no financial incentive when they play for Samoa, but there is a strong commitment to the jersey. No matter where a Samoan is born, there is a strong cultural connection to Samoa. From memory in the Tongan team, there were two Tongan born players - Kata and Hurrell - the rest were in similar situations to Samoa. His not shit if he was shit he wouldn't have got 3 mom awards 3 weeks in a row.
He does do some sill mistakes sometimes....
Point is even if Kearney didn't think he was good enough to make the side he didn't even make the train on squad which is why I'm thinking maybe he hasn't changed back his allience from samoa?
