Right foot kicker, play him on the opposite side to Burton who is a left foot. Sweet. Like many have said Melb have two running halves.
Both of the Melbourne halves are good ball players too. No reason why Burto and the new kid can't be the same for us with all their natural skills.

This kid is going to be a bonafide star, Gus wouldn’t sign a kid long term if he had any shred of doubt in his mind
Seen more highlights of him and he was playing both sides of the ruck, ball skills already look better than Burton too. Noticed he also played lock lol.

Yeh saw the lock side. Decent ball skills, good cut out passes but no kicking game seen really.

The broncos deliberately put him at lock to try manufacture him

He’s a natural 6/7

Kids a gun
He looks good, good d also
Problem is either burto or him will need to play a hynes type role

No 13 might be his way into the side at some point in the future. I note he was 13 for Queensland in the vid.

He looks to have all the skills for a quality ball playing lock forward in my eyes. His physicality is outstanding, with and without the ball.

I imagine he will be pretty solid size wise in a season or two.

Interesting pickup, but can he lead a team around a field.

Mahoney helps a bit in that regard, but it's what Flanno lacked which hurt us last year.

We need a capable halves player who can steer the ship.
