I don’t think anyone is getting promoted from this announcement. We were already over our limit at 31. So I think this has been known and on the cards for some time. Him going makes us 30 now.

If the RLPA manage to push hard enough to bring him back into the game and he damages his spinal chord because he finds a single doctor among many who will give him a green light, it'll make the RLPA look very bad. They probably need to read doctors reports rather than try to just jump in to support a players desire to be back.
