Still looks like a lock and not a edge backrower. He has always struggled to run lines and always preferred to run back inside behind the ruck. He isn't that much better than the average backrower and it's why he will never play rep footy again.

Not sure why there’s a knock on him, he’s loyal and busts his gut every time he plays. He’s up there with Radley and Trbojevic as the best one on one defender in the comp. His attacking game has been stifled by conservative coaching and playing outside mediocre ball players. Sure he’s a great middle forward but we’ve got plenty of them, outside of Foran where he gets early and clean ball he showed how effective he can be. Even if he doesn’t break the line he generally gets a quick play the ball and if we had more speed and creativity around the ruck we could capitalize on that. I’ve got nothing but admiration for the bloke, he’s been burdened with a huge physical and emotional load for years and just keeps on putting in.
