I'm on my third job but sort of in the same industry. I worked in a plant nursery, then did garden maintenance and now irrigation.

DD ... CK has done many a job.
A career is no longer an option unless I open my own business.

Some have suited better than others. But generally, don't be scared of change.
You'll learn something new, maybe about yourself too.

Temp-ing is good money if you like the lifestyle.

Four jobs, four different industries. From fast food, retail, IT & now marketing

It took me a while to get where I wanted to be but all my previous roles helped me achieve this thus far..

Have only truely worked in the one job for my profession. About to move onto my second.

I've done about 3 different casual jobs in the past.

Hey Leesee.

How long did you spend at Uni while studying to become a nurse?

I don't get how you can squeeze 3 previous industries into your life between school and Uni?

Unless you're talking casual stuff.

i worked in agriculture until i was 19 or so (started as a kid, and not just 'helping', i was paid to work), worked in hospitality all through high school, retail/nursing through uni, and am now suffering in hell.

One job in my "career path" although I freelance as well - but that's as well as my fulltime job not in place of. Before that I worked in three jobs during high school.

Fair enough. I guess I was just thinking full time jobs (not taking into account casual / part time work on the side for extra money). :grinning:

For me, I have had 4 full time jobs, in 3 different industries. Occasionally moving to different sections within those jobs. I'm way overdue to move on, but couldn't be bothered going through the whole job application / selection criteria / interview crap.

Had a few part time / casual jobs while at school and business college. All in different industries.
