Jim Dymock Announced As Coach For 2012, Assistant To Des in 2013

I don't think this is as unfair on Dymock as some are suggesting. He probably knows he has a lot of work to do before he is a top first grade coach.

Next season, provided we don't get Des early, Dymock will get a good taste of what it's like to be a full time coach in the top grade. Then the season afterward, he can serve under an experienced and successful coach, similar to Bellamy with Bennett, learning the ropes and will benefit greatly from it.

We don't know yet whether or not Hasler will stay past his 4 year deal, but ultimately this sets us up for the very long term future.

So everyone is excited now about Des coming in 2013, rumoured eagles players with him, rumoured SBW resigning etc etc etc.

What's happening in 2012? Are we just writing it off and waiting for the following year? I heard of supposed supporters apparently going to quit following the dogs or top themselves or some sh!t if we didn't get into the top eight next year because it hasn't been a real flash couple of years for us. Are they going to wait around now since Des is coming the following year?

Something the dogs didn't cover either was the possibility that Des could be fired mid season with the tumultuousness at Manly, whether he would be bought straight over to start coaching immediately?

What if by some act of god (or allah) the bulldogs win this year? What happens to Jim then?

Just a few questions for your pondering

its not going to be a write off from dymock and the players but the majority of the fans on here will give the bulldogs a free pass because the plan starts in 2013

It's all been said and answered before.
JD wants to prove himself as a FG coach and the players will want to play for JD and for future contracts with Des.
If JD wins the GF, TG said that's great, I will have 2 premiership winning coaches at the Bulldogs, JD just laughed.
