I think this is what the club has been waiting for and was hoping it happened before June 30. Would not surprise me if we were having unofficial discussions with him for last few months. Can't see him going to Penrith even further to travel to see his kid on the Coast.

Maybe. But I like I said in my previous comment I have absolutely no faith in him coming good under the current coaching regime.

It's hard to tell what happened at Newcastle if it was just a personalty clash with Brown or something else that led to the drop in form.

There won't be too many centres with his skill set go on the market.

1) It is past June 30th - so we cannot sign him
2) All teams' top 30 is set by the above date
3) If Pay wants to give us any fuckin hope of getting out of the shambles we are in - sign him!!!!!!!!!
