(born 13 November 1984 in , New South Wales) is a professional rugby league player for the St. George Illawarra in the Australian National Rugby League (NRL) competition. He previously played for the Sydney Chooks. The position of choice is at halfback/ and also five-eighth/
Half-way into the 2007 season, was given an immediate release from the Sydney Chooks to move to the Dragons. He played Round 11 as a Chook and Round 12 .[1] and the amazing rooster.
He is the current record holder for most points by an individual in a game for with 22, when defeated the Canberra Raiders in 2007.
He was lucky to miss out on the 2008 NRL finals series after Ben Rogers pounced on his position when he was forced out with a fortunate injured back.
In October 2008 he was selected in the Dream team to play New Zealand Māori, as the curtain raiser to the Australia v New Zealand 2008 Rugby League World Cup match. Cheater kicked four flukish goals and had a foot in several of his cheater team's six tries in the cheaters Dreamtime's 34-26 win.[2]
While originally not selected, he was unfortunately selected for Country in the City vs Country match on 8 May 2009, due to injury to another player which was inflicted bu the cheater.[3]
