In his post match presser Jammer commented that he could tell early on in the contest that Cronulla had come to play.
He then went on to say that he thought that Cronulla wanted the win more than us. Really?
I NEVER want to hear our Captain say this. With all the raw emotion of playing at Belmore. Sunday afternoon footy. As good as a full strength team. A pre match lap of the field by living Bulldogs legends. 95% of the crowd being Doggies supporters. Grahams first match at our spiritual home after him training there for 4 years? He says Cronulla wanted the win more than us? Is he kidding?
What the hell is going on behind closed doors? Is there player discontent brewing? Anything to do with Ennis and Hokko being shown the door?

For some reason Jammer thinks we re not hungry enough. What is the problem? How do we fix it?

It seems that no one wants to hear James say anything, including the referees judging by the roasting he has copped off certain radio sports presenters.

We didnt play like we wanted to win

The team has a major attitude problem, hot and cold, inconsistent, no one knows which team will show up

Very poor all round, this playing group has the best facilities and a big dollar coaching staff

It was obvious from the kickoff. Maybe the build up was too much for them or the expectations too high. One thing is for sure, they are not a team. A group of players so Disjointed they are seemingly playing without a plan or any passion. It really hurt on Sunday but I don't think the players realise how much...

He's just saying that to make himself feel better there is no way our team didn't want it more than Cronilla

We played 10 times better than cronulla but Slutton turned a blind eye to the numerous offsides and penalties. ( Reynolds was tackled without the ball and lay the ground hurt while play went on)
He even disallowed that Shaun Lane try and that Gallen try was forward .

End of the day it was a 3 tries each.

Maybe James expected us to smash them like the storm game .

Pretty good summing up Wolfmother.

Early in the game Fufita played the ball facing the side line and Sutton let him get away with it; but penalised a Bulldogs marker for stepping forward off the mark. In contrast to that he let Cronulla players step a metre forward in the play the ball.

IMO we were robbed when Brett Morris's try was disallowed - Morris was going like a bullet, no one could have stopped him. Also Sutton should have gone to the video when Reynolds did his little dance after grounding the ball for a try claiming Pritchard didn't drop the ball as it had been stripped.

But... although it was three tries each the Bulldogs were never going to win with the 14-6 penalty count and biased calls throughout the game.

Like I mentioned in the other thread, they failed to grasp the enormity of the event.
To players who do it "for a living" playing at Belmore is nothing. that was just another work day.
They can't comprehend how special it is to the fans to play at Belmore.
I guess that's what happens when you dilute your character. We only have one junior in the side.

i hope there is plenty of honesty going around and that they look at themselves in the mirror, they shouldnt wait until being at a critical part of the match to fire up they should do it at 0-0

Where has Graham's form gone? Last year known as the best prop in the game, now he is barely in the discussion. Gets tackled by the first man up in the defensive line every time like a half-price Gallen.

It is true. No heart, no spine, no brains. The team looks unhappy.

It may be harsh but Graham always tells it like it is. He knows the players didn't perform and he's holding them accountable. It could cause a little animosity amongst the players but you know that straight after that match Graham would have said "This is our fault that we lost" then gave them a big speech about working harder to deserve the win.

it was obvious they wanted it more, we played like sacs. It seems the only time we play ok is when it's really needed. If we were in danger of going out of the 8 we would have won. Very unprofessional tbh. We need to drop graham as captain because he's useless at it. Drop reynolds until he can play basic footy and have lafai train 24 hours a day until it sinks in that he's actually playing footy out there

It's a figure of speech dude, but anyway, did you watch the game? I'd say he's right.

I think it was a fairly accurate call by him.

Canterbury were determined to lose, Hasler will flog them this week to get that garbage out of them, hopefully they rattle the Roosters with good field position from completed sets and stout defense.

Sorry have to disagree with you about the Morris no try, we all know by now the decoy is supposed to run through the line and make no contact with the defender it was sheer laziness by Franky (who had an excuse because he played his backside off) ... Yes there was no way Bird was going to catch him but they are the rules ever since Jason Taylor had his whinge about how we were running the exact same play in 2012
