I'm interested to see how they can paint a picture that he was in some sort of torture chamber, considering its an intense physical elite athlete environment, its going to be hard af, lawyer is going to have to paint it as some form of pure torture, otherwise i dont see how tf they win this case.
I guess they will argue that he was the only one who was made to do it .

Hope the club has vids of the physical work the team do now as a matter of course to become competitive.

And also document the training regime of Melbourne and Panthers (and I dare say also that of the New Broncs.)

Probably be quite obvious it is the standard that was needed to be set in place at the Bulldogs that successful teams already carry out.
Yea I mean they do 3 full days of gruelling army camps. I watched the tigers army camp doco, it's no joke. To be able to prove what he received was some extra level of punishment will be tough

  • Generally, "deprivation of liberty" refers to being confined or imprisoned against one’s will, outside of lawful circumstances.
  • In a sports context, mandatory training sessions or rigorous regimens, even if extreme, are usually consented to via contract (employment agreement, club policies).
  • To sue on deprivation of liberty, a player would need to prove they were physically prevented from leaving, under threat, or otherwise unlawfully detained — a very difficult standard in the context of professional training
Just googled this for a quick look.

Strange he doesnt have any currant players supporting him.
Let's just assume for a minute there was a current player who wanted to support him... do you think that would be a good career move? It really isn't that strange lol

Don't know why you folks won't just let it play out.

TPJ - Would have to be via online feed unless they are paying to fly him back. Left on OK terms.
RFM - Just pumped his team last week, so bias in his comments. Not creditable.
Okunbor - See TPJ.
Rajab - Doing nothing these days and has no reason to burn the club.
Nu Brown - Dogs stood by him after his knee injury.
Patolo - Trying to revive career at Parra.

Says Topines team.
So all the shit ***** have sand in their vaginas...

The punishment he received goes hand in hand with the line of work he signed up for and that is to play the game of Rugby League that is taxing on the body and the physicality involves moulding a player to play to the standards required, so educating can be achieved with practical and theory lessons. I am sure he was spoken to about his obligations but also he was taught of what is required physically to be at the top of his game expected from his employer.
In any industry, employees are warned of their wrong doings but also made to make up for their misdemeanours in a manner that revolves around the line of work employed to do and sometimes that can be requested in tougher conditions or limited time lines usually being experienced which can cause stress on anyone but I can guarantee in the real world called the workforce it gets done by the employee with minimal fuss because they want to keep their bloody job.

5 of them, except for rajab, are clearly better than topine.

All were released by the dogs, deemed to be not good enough.

Okunbur is playing reserves in England, tpj went to England, the rest of them are reserve grade

Yet topine thinks he wouldve had a 10 year career and is claiming $400k per season for a total of $4million
