Jackson to Lock Pls

Jackson is wasted on the edge. Our clumsily executed attacking structures means he gets rubbish ball. Moreover, he doesn’t really have the footwork all ball playing skills of your RFM’s or Fine’s.

IMO, the team would be a better one with him at 13, playing a more traditional lock role.

Jackson has proven, at Origin level, that he can perform the role of lock at an elite level.

Moreover, he’s the captain. It would be useful having our captain in the middle.

Jackson is the best lock at the club, i have no doubt about that. The bloke can not run a line and has never really been any good at it at any stage of his career. Time to give Fine or Martin a crack.

Agreed. He isn't very clever with the ball nor does he run the damaging lines which create tries. Lock is his true position.
